Work Ethic
My athletic success at Westminster University was determined by focusing on a strong work ethic. My goals were to exceed expectations, use time management skills, and overcome challenges. With all these things combined I was able to transform my own work ethic into measurable achievements.
These achievements didn’t come from just showing up to practices and games, it was by putting in extra hours of work outside of practice when no one was watching. I achieved these goals by taking a challenge from my coach at the beginning of the year to prove myself to the team, that I wanted to be there, and I was the best option for the team’s success.
I proved my skills and earned my team’s respect by being awarded the Griffin All-Iron Team certificate three years in a row and earning the RMAC DII All-Conference 2nd Team Award for Faceoff specialist in both the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
