Leadership
Four years of participation in collegiate athletics has sharpened my skills to be an effective leader and a mentor. I led through example by practicing and playing my hardest every day. I recognized that a positive attitude, encouragement and leadership skills could make the difference between a win and a loss. This year our team beat the #14 ranked Colorado Mesa in overtime in part due to my leadership on the field.
My experience being a mentor and a leader to the other faceoff personnel is a skill I have advanced to help them analyze their performance and provide constructive feedback.
Leading our team with community engagement efforts created a successful team fundraising campaign for the 2024-2025 lacrosse season and Boys and Girls Club events, where the team raised over $1000.
