Effective Communication

This case study project demonstrates my skills in establishing business connections, presentations, effective communication, and teamwork. My team was challenged to create new ideas for reducing food waste and food insecurity for Wasteless Solutions, a local non-profit organization.

My team was one of four from Westminster University that was invited to participate at the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah.  

Within the project, my section was on connecting and partnering up with local fast-food restaurants to redirect the end-of-day food waste to the homeless community.  My slides were included in our overall team PowerPoint that we presented in front of a panel of judges.  

The result was that Wasteless Solutions chose my team’s proposal over 15 other student groups to win the competition and the $1000 prize.
